Dentin hypersensitivity remains to be a highly prevalent condition experienced by patients worldwide. The lack of training in dental schools to address the problem on DH has led to a high incidence of these cases. Dentists must be able to perform a thorough examination, differential diagnosis and a definitive treatment plan for patients suffering from DH.
The lecture will discuss that the treatment of DH requires patient's cooperation and consistent follow up from the dental professional. It will also highlight important characteristics of an effective occlusive agent to render a fast and long lasting relief from dentin hypersensitivity.

Techniques to Enhance Retention & Stability of Complete Dentures

In complete dentures, the most common problem that patient reports is that of inadequate, if not poor retention of complete dentures. The dentist has to deal with the problem with so much efforts and concerns. While one has limited course of action to address the dilemna and chair side procedures most often do not result to an optimum solution. The dentist cold have been relieve of such circumstances if techniques to enhance retention & stability are considered inthe denture fabrication. This presentation talks about just that.
